To be honest…

...I almost gave up on this whole idea of being my own boss with options

... But before I gave up..

I wanted to try something.

Something that - if it worked.

It would change everything.

And I spent years turning it into a system...

As of writing this, I’m currently living in Tokyo, Japan.

I was 38 years old and living in Nashville, Tennessee

I had no consistency in my revenue with my business.

I had no time to do anything else other than work.

I had no extra money to have any fun.

... and the 6 jobs I had lined up for the next 3 months all cancelled in the space of 24 hours.

This meant I couldn’t book the holiday at the end of the year I wanted to have.

There’s a stupid myth out there..that “if you build it, they will come”

… Well sometimes they don’t..

And if you want a life with options, it is almost never the answer...

I know, because I tried.

I gave it everything I had.

I gave it my BEST shot.

And it didn’t work.

Because I played by the rules and I did everything right...

I hated it because it took all my time.

I had goals, dreams and aspirations...I wanted more out of life...

...and having jobs cancel out of the blue, with no consistent way of getting more wasn't going to work.

So I did what everyone else out there does in this situation.

I started looking for a way out.

I looked everywhere and a few months later I found it.

I stumbled upon a forum where a group of guys and gals were talking about how they were "The New World Order Of Business Owners"...

...And that they would work on their business when and how often they wanted,

...And spent the rest of their time with their family and friends,

...Hanging out having BBQ’s, watching NBA games courtside, traveling in business class and staying in 5 star hotels,

...And watching their kids play football from the sideline - never missing their games,

...Feeling MORE CONNECTED WITH THEIR CHILDREN THAN THEY EVER HAD BEEN...

...All while their businesses were still growing…

This was a cool concept to me, and as I researched more and more I found that most of them were just like me.

They also watched football on Sundays, they liked eating chicken wings, and they were proud to be an American.

The only difference was they had a system in their business that would generate consistent new jobs profitably, on auto pilot

Just think about it:

>> Do bathrooms stay new forever? No. They wear out / date over time.

>> How many home owners want a new / better bathroom? Millions.

>> What do home owners do when they want to find answers to their bathroom update questions? Search Google

>> How many pages of Google do home owners go down to find answers to their questions? One (the 1st page)

>> How many phone calls do businesses get that aren’t seen on the first page of Google for keywords related to their services? 0.01%

>> How many clicks do businesses get that are shown in Google's Map Pack (top 3 results in maps section of a google search)? 44%

>> How many people have clicked on a Google Ad? 63%

Promoting my business on a platform that people use when intentionally looking for services I provide was the perfect thing for me...

And the best part that attracted me to doing it this way?

And even though I had a beacon of light at the end of the tunnel I knew I could move towards

I still had to actually get good at this without spending a ton of money or time doing it

Looking back, those first 2 years were brutal.

Late nights.

Hard work.

Stress.

I did everything the online “guru’s” were saying,

Find the best converting keywords for my services,

Write compelling copy,

Use authentic photos,

And I was getting the odd phone call,

But it wasn’t justifying the amount of time and money I was spending.

That was my life and I was ready to quit.

But thankfully, I didn't...

I proved the idea of “following the traditional life path” to be all wrong…

Instead of continuing to stand waiting to talk to strangers at home shows, and chasing crappy leads from Angi’s List

I'm hanging out in Tokyo,

...Sitting up at the bar drinking cold beer,

...Watching the chefs cook meat on sticks at a local yakitori restaurant, WHILE MY BUSINESS OPERATES IN THE US WITHOUT ME.

Chatting with friends and writing this copy you’re reading.

I have my cashflow from my rental property portfolio (I’ve been able to build from the profit from my remodeling business) invested into social enterprises that mean the world to me,

Unlike other bath remodelers who are going from job to job hoping and praying there’s more coming around the corner,

You see, these other guys spend all their time chasing people,

I did this for years, and it not only drove me crazy…

It drove me to the point where I was considering shutting the business down, and getting a job with another company.

Instead of me being a boss, and “earning a paycheck that came with it”,

I was getting the same amount of money as an employee, but working twice the hours.

THEY CHASE NEW CUSTOMERS, I GET THEM TO COME TO ME.

I get to go and watch my sons football games these days

And the best part is that I’m not super tired or stressed from work,

...So I can engage with him and his friends, and feel like I’m actually present

The really cool thing is that…

If you follow every single step that I teach, you end up with a growing remodeling business, right...

But it’s much more than that..

How many lead generation models have you seen come and go through the years?

❌ People use Angi’s...and end up calling frustrated home owners that have already been called 8 times, and just want to get off the phone…choosing to go with someone else, purely because they can’t deal with any more calls.

❌ Or Thumb Tack...and having to lower your bids to win the job, and regretting it later because your margin’s wafer thin

❌ Or setup stalls at Home Shows...and feeling like you’re selling your soul to window shoppers
